tweetgrid2Ever join a Twitter chat like #TNL or #jobhuntchat?  Ever have trouble keeping up with the hundreds of tweets coming across your screen? Some may already be running with this program, but if you’re  not you should highly consider looking into Tweetgrid.com.

It’s simple to use and will help you make sense out of your Twitterverse. Here are a few key points (below the video) taken from the FAQ’s of Tweetgrid but check out the 2 minute video on making your #TNL experience the best it can be.

Searching Tweets to a user:

To:ryaneary

Search Tweets form a user:

It's like you were in my head reading my thoughts! Seriously, get out of my head, man.

Really cogent overview of Tweetgrid, an underhyped but hyperuseful web app that I use all the time for exactly the uses you state here. I do find that with some of the Twitter chats, I need to fiddle with the update settings so that I don't get overwhelmed with spam, but I would say that this tool works much better for Twitter chats than Tweetdeck, even though I love that app dearly as well.

Ha! Thanks for the comments. It really is a nice tool. It's quick and very wasy to use. It's mad a big difference for me. Not sure I'd be on the chats without it. There are similar tools and I'll probably run some quick demos on them. Tahnks for reading.

Have you tried Twitterfall as well? It's similar to Tweetgrid but has a different visual way of displaying the results that we feel works better when you are monitoring lots of (sometimes low traffic) searches.
